With over one thousand employees, Pollmeier is the world market and technology leader in the processing of beech hardwood from responsibly managed forests in Germany. Egypt’s large furniture production has a high usage of beechwood. Better beechwood products from Pollmeier enable our customers in Egypt to reduce significantly material- and labour costs and improve at the same time the quality of their production. It takes a better awareness of our products and better consultation of the furniture factories to make those benefits visible for our customers.

To strengthen our Sales Team, we are looking for a full-time

 

Team Lead Sales Manager (m/f/d) - Egypt

to start as soon as possible and join our team working from Cairo/Egypt. 

 

What you will be responsible for: 

  • As Team Lead Sales Manager, you are the face of the Pollmeier brand and guide a team of 2 Area Sales Manager in Egypt 
  • You are a networker ready to manage, expand, and further develop our existing sales territory
  • You win over your customers preferably in personal meetings on-site, while also maintaining contact using digital tools
  • You continuously expand the customer base through the acquisition of new clients
  • You identify and awaken customer needs and thereby create long-term relationships to the benefit of end users
  • You coordinate the involvement of specialists who support you in sales situations as needed
  • You work closely with the internal sales team and sales management in Germany to achieve agreed sales targets and successfully market our products

 

What we are looking for: 

  • You are permanently based in Cairo/Egypt and bring experience in sales ideally in the timber or wood processing industry
  • You love selling and engaging with customers
  • You enjoy being responsible for your own success
  • You are characterized by an independent and proactive work style and go the extra mile to achieve your goals
  • You have a strong emotional connection to wood as a material, which helps you inspire customers
  • You enjoy traveling regularly within India and hold a valid driver’s license
  • You speak Arabicas a native language and have good English skills
